Tonight Makenzie finally took a bottle!!! For the past 7 months Makenzie has liked eating from me and only me, not me in a bottle and especially not formula. Stubborness definately runs in our family. Don't get me wrong I love nursing (free, no bottles to clean up, and good for baby) but I've hated the uneasy feeling I would get whenever I would leave Makenzie. But after tonight I finally feel much better about leaving her for extended periods of times. good thing because next month I'll be leaving her for a week

Oh how sweet! I remember after 10 months of nursing Taylor exclusively how I felt. To be able to get a baby sitter and go out with my husband and not worry if Tay was miserable or not. Yeah, Mackenzie!
Love those bottles! I have a handful of them that we have used with Parker. He drank from them once or twice before giving up and refusing anything but the boob! I totally know the feeling you are talking about! Both my kids refused to take bottles!!
How nice! Way to go Makenzie! She just decided to wait till the end of the summer I guess. I miss you guys out there and hope you're still having a good time!
