Two things that I am sad about being over...So You Think You Can Dance and Eclipse.
I love watching SYTYCD over the summer times probably for multiple reasons...1.to relive my days that I used to be able to move my body somewhat gracefully (though not quite as good as those folks) 2. There are no other good shows on to watch while I wait for my husband to get home 3. well I guess there's only 2 reasons. I'm glad that a girl FINALLY won (its about time) and I'm glad it was Sabra, its just amazes me that she's only been dancing for 4 years!
I absolutely LOVED reading all three books, Twighlight, New Moon, and Eclipse and I am so sad that I have to wait another year for the next one. I have found myself going onto Stephenie Meyers website reading all of the extras and outtakes just to fill the void (and my crush on Edward)
I've always thought that Danny was an amazing dancer but he always bugged me until this week. This week when I watched him do the Viennese Waltz with Lacey I discovered that he moves exactly how I pictured Edward Cullen would move (which realization probably came from my latest obssession with those books)
Meet Henry Cavill...Stephanie Meyer's "perfect Edward". So now just watch and just imagine its Edward dancing with Bella (but Bella isn't graceful so imagine its you) and enjoy!

i totally got the chills when i watched this dance. seriously, he did move so gracefully, and i TOTALLY see edward in the way he dances!
all i know is that dance was AMAZING... I wish Chad and I could dance that way.... We do in my dreams...
but my favorite part about that sytycd clip is when danny says lacey makes up the fact that she puts the popcicle stick in her wrist to keep it up...

Lyd- you are funny. I have never been able to Dance but like Dawn have dreams of Ted and I taking dance lessons one of these days. And I must admit you girls have got me wanting to read the vampire books now! As soon as I finish "4 hour work week." I'm all over it! Cuz apparently I'll have a ton of time when I only work four hours a week right?
Jen... did Chad or I tell you about that bood "4 hr work week" that is the book that has changed Chad's life...
Lyd I LOVED SYTYCD! I am so sad to see it go! I love Stephenie's pick for Edward! I am glad you are on the Stephenie Meyers band wagon...It has been fun to get a vampire fix :)
I was laughing at myself when I read this post because I myself have a crush on Edward! I've only finished the first book and can't WAIT until I can get my hands on the next one. Only people who have read the book can understand the strange obsession that we all now have with a modern-day vampire!
By the way, it's Emily Beckham. Not exactly sure why it just says Xavier. I assure you that my husband does not have a crush on Edward!

I wish I could meet you because I know we'd be instant friends - I have LOVED So You Think You Can Dance as well as the Twilight series. (I didn't know there's going to be a fourth book!)
I always record SYTYCD and watch it later, while I fold laundry or something. I got hooked on it because my husband has Scouts Wednesday nights and I needed a show to replace America's Top Model and The Next Pussy Cat Doll. I have so enjoyed SYTYCD and hated to see Jessie, Dominic and Lauren go. I wish I could move like these peeps! They are SOOO talented. Danny did bug me for a while too - the judges nailed it when they said he had walls built up. He just wasn't lovable for a while, ya know? But he has turned into one of my favorites because he is so incredible. And Sabra...you kinda knew that was coming. I'm so happy for her. She so deserves it. She got rave reviews every week and I don't think she's ever been in the bottom two or three. Only four years of dance. Amazing!
Not a bad pick for Edward. Yeah, you know we all have a crush on him! Who couldn't? I just wish he'd take a bite out of Bella already so they could live "vampily" ever after! Ah - ah - ah!
Ugh! Why on earth do I have a crush on a vampire, but I do... Don't tell my husband! (I'm Kendra Hall see above post, I'm also Emily's sister-in-law, it's not polygamy, Emily has two brothers). I must admit that Stephanie's pick for Edward is definitely eye candy, but the one in my head is even better...Should I admit that?!
